Overview of the Equipments

Operation of the Equipments
  • Before starting of filling process the cleaning process is carried out by mean of THE PRIME FACILITY. With the use of this facility operator can clean silicon pipe from source tank to nozzle end.
  • After completion of cleaning process this same facility is useful for sucking of filling material (DRUG) from source tank to nozzle end.
  • Once operator is confirmed there is no air bubble in silicon tube he starts calibration the desired volume by use of calibration facility at home position and first row position.
  • After completion of ten pumps calibration (SET REQUIRED VOLUME) operator can start filling of syringes. (NEST)
  • Operator has to keep a nest (TRAY) of pre filled syringe over the SS jig. Then he has to put a jig to filling magazine and start the machine to fill syringes.
  • Automatic filling cycle start in 10 steps for filling of ten rows.
  • Operating Sequence: a. Before Nitrogen Flushing b. Filling
  • After completion of filling process operator has to put SS tray of bung on the filled syringe. Put this set of filled syringes and tray of bungs under Stoppering head of Stoppering machine.
  • Automatic Stoppering cycle start one by one as per the programmed Stoppering cycle mentioned as under. Stoppers are plugged into the Pre-filled Syringes precisely.
  • Operating Sequence: a. Vacuumization b. Before Nitrogen Flushing c. Vacuum Hold d. Stoppering e. After Nitrogen Flushing

  • Design of Nozzles and adjustment of Flow rate is very useful for filling without Air Bubble / foaming in the Syringes.
  • Main advantage of system is no direct touch of Filling material / product with any metal parts like Syringe, Valve etc.

Utility requirement:

  • Vacuum pump is to be installed outside the sterile area.
  • Laminar flow is required 1.8 meter X 0.9 meter for filling and stoppering machine.
  • Air compressor for Stoppering machine.
  • Nitrogen Required for Filling & Stoppering Machine.
